How fat get stored in our body??

As we have seen how to manage your body fat we should know more about how fat get stored in our body. So here are step by step process of fat storage in body:
  1. Intake of Excess Calories: When you consume more calories than your body needs for energy, the excess calories are converted to triglycerides (a type of fat) and transported to adipose tissue, where it is stored as body fat.

  2. Lipogenesis: In adipose tissue, the excess triglycerides are stored in specialized cells called adipocytes. The process of storing triglycerides in adipocytes is called lipogenesis.

  3. Hormonal Regulation: Hormones such as insulin, leptin, and cortisol play a role in regulating the storage and release of fat from adipose tissue. Insulin promotes the storage of fat in adipose tissue, while leptin signals the brain to reduce appetite and increase energy expenditure. Cortisol, which is released in response to stress, can also promote fat storage.

  4. Fat Mobilization: When the body needs energy, it releases stored fat from adipose tissue through a process called lipolysis. Hormones such as glucagon, adrenaline, and growth hormone signal adipocytes to release stored triglycerides into the bloodstream, where they are transported to other tissues to be used for energy.

  5. Energy Expenditure: The body burns stored fat for energy when it needs more energy than it is getting from food. This can occur during periods of fasting, exercise, or calorie restrictions.

It is important to note that the process of fat storage is complex and can be influenced by many factors, including genetics, diet, exercise, and hormonal imbalances.
